The Chill Room, 10 July 2016, at 0000 ET on Radio Free Brooklyn
192k VBR, 2 hours, stay up all night to get lucky
Killradio is still down this week, so for RFB I am pulling out this super dense shiny construction built in suggestive conscious layers of various times and beats. Talk about boxes within boxes -- this confounding and elegant show is made from an ancient Chill Room (from 2005), songs, theater pieces, radio plays, movies, ads, mashups, and pure noise. If you like dense collage, you have come to the right place.
Here are some comments from the original posting. Fedbelly said, "Any radio show that kicks off with the cosmic sitar fun of The Incredible String Band and finishes around Paris in 1919 is a champion of shows. Great stuff!" An anonymous commenter left:"I absolutely adore these sounds which resonate to the core. Thank you Bennett for all that you are. You are a true mystic." My friend Jason added: "only way out is in, eh? ;-)" And, finally, I got: "Can you help me with my melon?"

With special thanks to Jason Berthume and all my various layers of listeners, from Mike Schmitt to Dennis Wolf and with Noel and Louise and Duffy scattered throughout. Thanks to killradio.org, Radio Free Brooklyn, soundcloud, and wfmu.org. This program was in fact begun in fall 2005 and was built upon in 2009, 20011 and 2013, which is when Get Lucky was added. This is not meant to make sense. It is meant to be listened to as you fall asleep. Dream comments urgently requested.
